Shot Famz

Wow, cool, the event is called “Shot Famz”, haha. I call my family “Famz”, and we say “shot” as a colloquialism for thank you, but they made it into a pun, hahaha! So relatable. I bet that’ll be lit[1] because they’re using the same slang words as me! Hang on a second… Kai boxes[2] and candy packs??? Now I’m definitely getting an irreversible medical procedure. Yooooo… DJ music! That’s so hip hop. I’m gonna call all my usos,[3] and we finna[4] turn up! Lesh go![5]

[1] Lit: When something is turned up or popping … John: did you go to that party last night? Daquan: yes that shit was lit

[2] The Māori word for food is kai.

[3] In Samoan, “Uso” means brother.

[4] Finna: Abbreviation of “fixing to”. Normally means “going to”… I’m finna go da’ sto!

[5] Leshgo: NZ SLANG MEANING: Let’s do this, excited, let’s go… Yo leshgo have some cones gee!

Thanks for helping spread the word Ethan. I agree its great to again see people doing the mahi to help their communities. I feel blessed to live in a country pulling together to hit big milestones over the weekend – 80% eligible first jab, 75% second, and Auckland as a whole doing even better. I can’t remember a time when New Zealand felt as unified as it does today, in our fight against Covid.

There are still pockets of cowardly rubbish like we see below, now, sadly, resorting to threats and vandalism. Thankfully this kind of thing is absolutely an outlier, and the Panmure community spirit was evident the morning after in a sign of solidarity:

“The shopfront window at the Pasefika Family Health Group in Panmure was smashed a day after a successful community vaccination event.
Maungakiekie-Tāmaki Ward Councillor Josephine Bartley said on Facebook the incident was “unacceptable.”
“We will not tolerate violence, keep your anti vax violence to yourself please,” she wrote.”

Seems to me that you forgot that government thugs have declared peoples freedoms of association and worship a privilege bestowed upon us by government – to the point that they are sending stormtroopers to businesses that voice their disapproval by way of satire. You seem to also fail to comprehend that the government has released edicts to private businesses to fire people that do not partake in medical experimentation. These all dwarf any act of vandalism against the government medical experimentation houses.

  2. The single greatest lesson I learned at university was on my very first day of registration before classes even started: “Before getting in line (queue), make sure it’s the destination you want.”

In this wicked generation, it’s an honour to join those in the much shorter line headed the opposite direction.

Woah woah woah! There are some fringe comments on this blog, but now people are “lining up” to support lunatics who vandalise health centres and threaten women with violence!? I dunno about anyone else’s line in the sand, but I’m gonna steer clear of whatever topsy-turvy beach y’all are heading for.

      • Excuse me? You do realize your straw man argument reveals your dishonesty, right?

I understand you and ‘Peter’ have been trained by your educators and media to dishonestly dump everyone into a box of your choosing and then burn the box, but I’m not volunteering myself into your box. Bunch of liars, you are.

Just because you want to associate those who refuse the vaccine for themselves, with those who allegedly commit violence for the same reason, doesn’t make it so.

It’s far more likely we’ve got an agent provocateur at work creating false flags for people like you and ‘Peter’ to use in your propaganda efforts, just alike all totalitarian thugs throughout history have done.

We are not ignorant of your devices. So predictable!

      • And also…please spare us the theatrics? If you want to have a dramatic reaction to a real situation, that might be justified. But having a mock passionate melt-down over your own imaginary associations is really pathetic.

Finally, please take your divide and conquer strategy elsewhere. It’s really clear there are a multitude of views here, aligned in opposition to the mandates if disagreeing on reasons. I’m sure you would love it if each one publicly ‘dissociated’ from the others under your pressure. (“Gasp! Oh no! PLEASE don’t associate ME with THEM!”)

Problem is, you lot have used this tactic so much and so obviously that it doesn’t fly. Truly pathetic. If you have a point to make, use substance not fallacies.
